Payment & Insurance

Dr. Stacey Munro is an in-network provider for Aetna, Cigna, and PHCS/Multiplan insurance, as well as State of Connecticut Retiree plans. Co-payment or coinsurance is required at each visit. If you have an unmet deductible, full payment for services according to the fee schedule is required at the time of the visit. Uncovered services and products, such as venipuncture or specimen collection in the office, certain laboratory tests, body composition testing, and nutritional supplements will be charged at the time of the visit. All charges will be discussed with you up front.

Full payment at the time of the visit is expected for patients with Medicare, Medicaid, United Health Care, Oxford, BCBS, Connecticare, Health NetTricare, Heath New England, Tufts, any unnamed insurance, or no insurance. You may be able to receive partial or full reimbursement for billable services from your insurance provider. We can provide a form with visit information to you or to your insurance company. Check directly with your insurance provider about out-of-network benefits.

Some insurance companies require prior approval for laboratory testing. It is your responsibility to determine your coverage of lab testing. The cost of an office visit does not include supplements or laboratory testing.

For your convenience, Nature’s Helper Naturopathic Clinic accepts cash, checks, and the following credit cards:

Health Savings Accounts (HSA) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) can be used to pay for office services, laboratory tests, and supplements. HSA can be used for any service or product in the office. FSA can be used for office visits or co-payments, but use for purchase of supplements, or other office services depends on the plan.

Supplements

Nutritional and vitamin supplements are often recommended as part of your treatment plan. We can review current supplements during your office visit. Supplements are available for purchase at our clinic. We can mail supplements through USPS for a small fee. There is also an online dispensary which carries many, but not all of the products that we have in the office.
